The district encompasses the area between the Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field, the home of the Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Convention Center, CityScape and the Collier Center, which is known for the shopping and many restaurants.
Speaking of food, you won’t go hungry at the TSRA. Besides all the concession food staples of hotdogs, popcorn, hamburgers and nachos, you’ll find some specialty restaurants. There is sushi, BBQ, donuts, macaroni and cheese, cheesesteaks and ice cream. Of course, you’ll find all the beer, wine, cocktails and lattes you can imagine. Save room for the caramel apples.
Tickets to all of the events are available online or through the ticket office. If you have a group, contact the ticket office to get the best deal on ticket prices. Group discounts are available for church groups, birthday parties, schools, large families or tour groups. A group usually consists of 10 people or more, but check with the venue as discounts vary.
Parking garages are available within walking distance of the arena. However, if you are a premium member, a suite member or a very lucky person, there is on site parking. You may also get street parking if you know where to look.
If you choose not to drive downtown, the Metro Light Rail allows ticket holders to ride the rail free of charge on the day of the event. If you can get a friend or Uber/Lyft to drop you off, there is a green loading zone located on 3rd Street off of Jefferson. If you need to go to the will call window, there is a green loading zone located off 1st Street between Jefferson and Madison Streets. Don’t dawdle or leave your car unattended because they won’t hesitate to give you a parking ticket.
All of the parking structures have plenty of accessible parking spots, but they are in high demand in the downtown area, so plan accordingly and get to the events early.
