National S’mores Day is celebrated on August 10th of every year.  We have the Girl Scouts to thank for this delicious camp fire treat.  The recipe first appeared in a Girl Scout book.  What is a S’more?  Simply put, a S’more is a toasted marshmallow and part of a chocolate bar nestled between two graham crackers.  It is best enjoyed hot by a camp fire.  For people who don’t like to roast marshmallows over an open fire, you can make one by using your microwave oven.
