Let’s get out there and show our pride for America this July 4th! The Women of the Moose would like to invite you to participate in the 1st Annual, Paint the Town Red (White & Blue) Business Challenge to benefit the American Legion Donald C. Thompson Post 135 Business Fund. Their goal is to challenge all Verde Valley municipalities to recruit their local businesses to hang an American Flag and decorate their business in a patriotic fashion by the 4th of July, 2021. The fee to participate is $10 per business.
As an additional fundraiser, flags of all sizes can be purchased from the American Legion. There is no fee to the municipality’s business organization for participation but donations towards the cost of the awards would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will be directly donated to the American Legion. Awards will be given to the municipality with the highest percentage of participation and to the most patriotic business as designated by the American Legion Family Board of Officers.
The American Legion Donald C. Thompson Post 135 will be located in downtown Cornville.
